Using announce
The .au Domain Administration announcement list is an information only mailing list. This list is used for dissemination of official auDA announcements and media releases. It is NOT a public discussion list. If you join the list, you will only receive mail from authorised auDA personnel. Subscribers are unable to post to this list. Subscribers will receive password reminders once a month and may use this password in the "announce Subscribers" section below to manage their subscriptions or unsubscribe.  The password reminder will also include the email address that is subscribed to this list. Members will be automatically disabled when auDA receives 2 bounce notifications within 35 days. Members will receive 2 further notifications (one per week for 2 weeks) their subscription has been suspended, if the account is not re-activated the member will be permanently unsubscribed. Subscribing to announce
Subscribe to announce by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
